I signed up for this program as a newbie to the Banking and Finance industry. The program videos are helping me in getting faster with Excel and building projections overall. I can now recall some of the keyboard shortcuts which keep popping from top in all videos. Also the side-boxes which keep on educating about the best practices or concepts. Though, I look forward to also the same way to learn the basic concepts in MS Excel too, like Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, IF function in detail etc. Also, more videos on Concepts in Finance will take the program to a whole new level. I will be able to upgrade my rating if the program can provide this.
Being a CA student i am keen to make a career in Finance / Investment Banking, I always wondered what Financial Modeling is. This program definitely goes a long way to improve my knowledge and makes me more confident to face interviews. The concepts explained with screen-writing (Financial Modeling for an operating company vs. that for a new project, Circularity in Excel, Functions used in Financial Modeling) are particularly good! Pop-ups which keep reminding me about keyboard shortcuts are a great way to improve speed in Excel. Various versions of the model, which allow a reconciliation at every stage is also a great idea!

The balanced and systematic approach of the trainer is the highlight of the program. The concepts of finance as well as the prominent features of MS Excel have been given due weightage in the course. So, even a non-finance person like me was able to grab the essence of the lectures very easily My only suggestion is to add some supplementary material on the core concepts of accounting in the beginning, which will be of great use to those from the non-finance & accounting background. As a finance enthusiast i always wanted to learn modelling but at the same time i dreaded it cos the more i saw models the more scared i got with the complexity of formulas etc. This training explains how simple it is to make a model if you have the BIG Picture in your mind and do one thing at a time and keep checking for inconsistencies. Further the video is very articulate and explains everything so clearly that you feel you are in a classroom having a face to face interaction. Kudos to the team and thank you for providing this.
