Sarod Instrument Training Classes – For Beginners
Sarod is a stringed musical instrument with different Indian music gharanas (Indian classical music schools) playing 3 distinctively different types of Sarod instruments unique to their respective Sarod classical music gharanas, the Gwalior gharana, Maihar Gharana, Senia Shahjahanpur Gharana and Lucknow Gharana.
The seated Sarod player holds the Sarod instrument across his lap and after tuning of Sarod is done by the Sarod musician, the strings of the Sarod are plucked with a plectrum held in the right hand, while the fingernails of the left hand press the strings.
GAALC offers online Sarod lessons to learn playing Sarod with Indian Sarod training instructor Guru online. The Sarod teachers teaching Sarod to the global Sarod learning students train playing Sarod – the North Indian Hindustani classical music on Sarod, including the Indian classical musical ragas or raag (Bhartiya Shastriya Sangit raag) and the musical compositions based on music raag (Shastriya Sangeet Raag). An experienced and qualified Sarod trainer guru for beginners, intermediate and advanced level Sarod students get Sarod training according to the GAALC Sarod instrumental music training curriculum for certificate level courses.
