The most focused area in the SBI clerk exam was ‘Number System’. this topic is relatively easy. it just needs a thorough practice.Following are the few basic things those a candidate should keep in mind. – BODMAS rules – Squares, cubes, square roots and cube roots – Rules of Surds and Indices – Multiplication and division of large numbers – Addition and subtraction of fractions – Approximations Practice as many questions as you can, without using a calculator at any point. The more questions you work on, the better you become. However, only solving a large number of questions may not help. You need to look at the way you have calculated the answer and compare it with the methods given in the solution. Some basic facts that you should know when you attempt such questions: – Multiplication tables up to 50 – Squares up to 99 – Cubes up to 50 – Reciprocals up to 15 – Factorials up to 15 – Conversion from fractions to percentages and vice versa upto 1/50 – Direct multiplication of TWO-DIGIT/THREE DIGIT numbers with larger numbers (easier to do once you know the multiplication tables) Whenever you approximate the given numbers, have a …

SBI CLERK PRE EXAM ANALYSIS 2016

The Crux of SBI Clerical 2016 Pre Examination. The Exam was conducted on 22nd May 2016 at  9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. SBI did not conduct the exam in 2015 for clerk position but conducted the clerical exam in 2016 with Pre and Mains exam. Again the Exam was testing the Speed, Accuracy , Planning and judgment of the candidates. The exam was comprised of 3 sections i.e. Mathematics, Reasoning and English. The total time is 1 hour. SUBJECT QUESTIONS IDEAL NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS TIME Quantitative Apptitude 35 20 22 MIN Reasoning Ability 35 21 23 MIN English Language 30 22 15 MIN   Expected Cut off Marks – While most of the institutions are predicting a cut off marks ranging between 55 – 60. Please do not expect this cut off. The Exam was relatively very easy and the cut off this year will be high as 61 – 64. Most of the Questions in Quantitative aptitude were direct and were replica from standard books which require just 30 -40 seconds calculation. Master The Reading Comprehension For SBI PO Pre Exam

You can master the Language skills needed for the English section of SBI PO exam by reading for 30 Days of 30 minutes each. Reading Comprehension – We talk about 2005 – 2006 the reading comprehension section was easy and students were less careful about the grammar section. as a result,  the examiners increased the level of difficulty of reading comprehension and the grammar portion was made easy, hence students shifted their focus to grammar section.  This trend continued till 2010.
